Anna Tavis, PhD of NYU’s Human Capital Management Program and co-author of Humans at Work on PAFOW Live w/ Al Adamsen

Anna Tavis, PhD, Clinical Professor at NYU on PAFOW Live w/ Al Adamsen. Anna will discuss the new book she co-authored with Stela Lupushor, Humans at Work. She’ll explore the new contract between the employer and employee and investigate the dramatic changes we're all undergoing, changes driven by, among other things, the digitization of work, distributed workplaces, organizational redesign, and the changing workforce (both internal and external). These changes, along with increased demands and stresses of daily life, are elevating the need for better human-centric leadership and business practices.

This discussion with Anna will focus on one key aspect of this evolving employer-employee contract: Empathy. With the war in Ukraine, the trauma we've all endured with the pandemic, the economic uncertainty affecting our livelihoods, what's the appropriate action for individuals, managers, and business leaders? Join Anna, ask questions, and contribute to the discussion on this salient topic that's critically important to us all. Register here on LinkedIn and join the discussion live.
